Getting ready for this weekend.....

I'm doing a little craft fair at the elementary school in Victor and just baking away getting ready for it! I'm revamping the S'more Brownies a little bit.....my kids are drooling over them! They turned out pretty.....I really like the way they look.....but they may be too hard to actually eat this way. Oh well, it's a work in progress!
They really do look good enough to eat!

I'm trying a new recipe out for Cheesecake Brownies. We'll see how well they go over this weekend. They are a very rich brownie with an actual Cheesecake filling baked on top of the brownie.
They will be thick and yummy......I hope they go over okay.....again, it's a work in progress!
I'd better keep on baking and getting everything ready for Saturday. If you're gonna be in the Valley, stop by and see me! Next weekend I'll be in Idaho Falls at Hillcrest High School doing the Spring Bazaar there.....so put it on your calendar! Hope to see you all soon!

I.F. Spring Home and Garden Show

Here are the couple of pictures that I took at my booth down in Idaho Falls. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun! Friday was VERY slow! Saturday was much, much better. This is my new banner....what do you think? I think it turned out way cute!
Part of the table.....

A sort of whole view of where we spent the weekend....in the corner.....
We had a pretty good variety of treats for sale......it was just sort of a bad set up.....but I was still able to hand out a lot of business cards and meet a lot of amazing people!
Now we are preparing our menu for the Spring Bazaar that will be down at Hillcrest High School on April 16th! Hope to see you all there!

Lots going on!

I've been trying new recipes......some are keepers and some aren't! These ones have definitely been keepers.....Homemade Oreos with a cream cheese filling. Here are the regular ones!

And the mint.....my favorite. I'm going to be trying them with a raspberry flavored filling next!

I was coaching my oldest daughter's basketball team and for the last game I made them these cute basketball cupcakes.
Then I put their names on them.....I had a couple of extra so I did one each for the Refs that we've had. The refs were amazing!
I did a couple of my favorite treats for them. Along with the cupcake is a hot fudge bar and a mini cheesecake with a slice of strawberry on top.
Then last week I did 80+ cupcakes for our R.S. birthday party. They turned out so cute!!
There is so much more happening! I'm working on mini cinnamon rolls and mini chocolate chip cookies for a wedding reception next weekend. Plus I will be doing a food booth at the big Spring Home and Garden Extravaganza on the 18th and 19th in Idaho Falls! Check out the details here! It's going to be a great event and Free Admission! I will try to keep things updated more often on here! Thank you for checking out my page! =)

Cookies and Cream Dream Cupcakes

A new year, time to try new things! I got some new cook books in the last few weeks and found some amazing recipes I wanted to try. This is the first one. It is a chocolate cupcake with a whole Oreo baked inside with a Cookies and Cream butter frosting to top it off. The frosting is amazing, but the cupcake is just okay. The cake wasn't as moist as I wanted it. So I tried another chocolate cake recipe with it and was even more disappointed.....I'm not saying I didn't eat it still, but I've had better cake. But I have many more, from scratch, chocolate cake recipes to try! And I will keep trying until I get it right!
This is one that my "taste testers" LOVED....even if I wasn't thrilled with the whole thing. I will be putting this on my dessert list soon. I would really like to put a better cake with it first, but I will make it for you if you just "have" to have it before then.

Now stop drooling on your keyboard! ;-)

Christmas Craziness!

The holidays were crazy busy around here as I'm sure they were for most of you! I helped do about 24 of these Christmas Sampler Platters to pass out for one of my most beloved customers, my mom! She picked up some cute plates from the dollar store along with these big gift bags to cover them up with. They turned out really cute.

There was a fun selection of fresh goodies on there too. She had Cheesecake Brownies, Mint Brownies, Sugar Cookies, Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies and the 3-in-1 Cookies. These will be an option this coming Christmas Season......either me providing just the goodies, or the whole she-bang! You'll decide! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Season!

Train Cake

This week I had an order for a train cake. It was a lot of fun.....I've never done a train before. The Polar Express was my inspiration for this cake.

I really love the way it turned out! I'd love to get some feedback from you....let me know if you love it too!
