New Business Cards and more

I'm so excited! My new hanging vinyl sign, my business cards, my loyalty/business cards, gift certificates and stickers all just came today! With the snow outside, it's almost like Christmas! It's always so much fun to get packages delivered to your door. So what do you think? I'd like to know your opinions. Here is the sign with everything. The sign is about 3' x 1.5'.
These are the gift certificates front and back. You'll be able to decide how much you want them to be.
These are the regular business cards.
These ones are double sided....on one side is the loyalty punch card and on the back is the business card.
And some more of my stickers to put on my individually wrapped treats and on the full size orders too.
So what do you think of the colors? I really like them. On Wednesday I'm going to my cousin Brandi's to get the vinyl signs for my car figured out. I'm so excited! She does amazing things with vinyl. You can check out her stuff here, at Inspirations by Brandi.

Family get-together

Today and tomorrow are going to be a lot of fun! We get to be with family and to celebrate these two handsome, amazing boys being a part of our family. Brand'n and Garrett are the twin sons of my husbands brother and his wife. They've waited so long for these two precious spirits to join their family and we are all so excited to have them here!

They are so cute and already have such different personalities.
They are pretty sweet and special to all of us. On Gary's side of the family there are a lot of girl/girl twins....they are the first boy/boy twins....there aren't any boy/girl twins yet.
Aren't they so cute when they are sleeping?! I love to hug and cuddle these two and can't wait to do it some more this weekend when we get to have them blessed at church.
Because of the family get-together, I'm making these amazing treats.....my pumpkin brownies with cream cheese frosting. It's a great fall treat!
Don't they just look scrumptious?!

More cakes

Whoops, this picture should've been last.....but you'll see what I'm talking about below....the cake really is blue and brown! So I actually did these cakes last month for my nephew and my daughter. The first cake is a barn made out of the Wilton Giant Cupcake Pan and a couple of cupcake farm animals to go with it. This one was for my nephew's 1st birthday. For the base I turned the cupcake bottom over so that the bigger side was on the bottom. Then I started "painting" the barn.
Then I added the roof and started to "install" the shingles. The butter cream frosting worked perfectly for this.
There is the barn all done with the windows with a little bit of hay hanging out and the door.
Not too bad.....
So I did 4 animals......first we have the puppy dog.
Then there is the duck.....
You gotta have a pig.....
And my absolute favorite was the cow!
Seriously! I love that face!
Tada! The animals and their barn!
The other cake that I did was a checkerboard cake for my daughter who turned 9. It was a vanilla cake that I colored blue.....I know, it looks more greenish here, but it really was blue and a chocolate fudge cake to make the brown.
After we put it all together, it turned out so cute! We did some fondant flowers, letter G's and number 9's for her.
She absolutely loved it. It was a lot of fun to make!
And thanks to my sister and my good friend Jenn who helped me play with the fondant for these cakes!

Don't they just make you smile and almost coo?!

Busy, busy summer!

It has been a crazy, busy, wonderful summer! I've been doing a few orders here and there and getting to try a couple of things. I wanted to share with you my Patriotic Brownie that I did in the dutch oven over the 4th of July weekend. I tried it first in a 14" dutch oven, but ended up burning it while I was eating my dinner. I decided it was too thin and wanted to make a little thicker, so I put it in a 12" the second round and this is what I came up with. It turned out perfect! It was so moist inside!

Thanks to my mom, I had fresh strawberries, raspberries and blackberries to grace this wonderful dessert. As always, I use my mom's brownie recipe (it's the BEST), then topped it with a cream cheese topping, then the berries. I think I loved it with the raspberries the best. They gave such a good tart contrast to the sweet of the brownie.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!

Then, the week after that my mom is having a garage sale and I'm going to have a table with desserts to sample and sell there too. I'm still trying to decide what all to do, but I'm very excited about it! As things happen, I'll get pictures up to show you what is going on.
