New

I got my new cake plate I ordered a couple of weeks ago!
I love it!!
It's gonna be fun to show things off on it!

Kinda like this new Neopolitan Cupcake I tried out the other day!
Cupcake is a little misleading though!!
The bottom is actually brownie, topped with strawberry cake, topped with cream cheese frosting!

Pretty Sweet!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!!!
Check out these fun treats that I've been making!
This one is my favorite......
Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies!
Yes, you read that right! They are amazing!
You really have to give them away, because you will eat the whole thing!
Here is a cute twist on my Peanut Butter Kiss cookies!
All pink or red with the Hugs!
They are perfect for sharing!

Don't they look pretty before you bake them too?!

Here are some mini-mini cheesecakes with a slice of strawberry.
They are mini cupcake size.
Perfect for a "taste"!
Tell all your family and friends how much you love them!
<3

Go Rigby!!

I received an order to do these fun, really big, basketball sugar cookies for our girls varsity basketball team for their end of the regular season party.
They were fun to make! The girls loved them!
I also made some smaller versions for my sons city league team.
They loved them too!

I like to think I had a little hand in helping them win first place in Districts this weekend......."How?" you may ask.....well one of the girls asked me to make them some chocolate chip cinnamon rolls, so I did. I happened to make them the day that they lost a game in Districts, so they would have to play one more time for 1st or 2nd place. It was a home game and they were all really bummed out. There I was with a big cinnamon roll for each of them! I was told later that they all went home and drowned their sorrows by eating their cinnamon rolls. They loved them and it helped them get ready for their last game before State. Let me tell you....it was an amazing game....a real nail biter!! They won in overtime!!!

Here they are!!
They are all champions!!!

Hot Cocoa Cookies

Yum! These are a great cookie for today! It is finally snowing like it's winter here! This is a new recipe that I found on Pinterest! That place is so addicting!! Just like these amazing cookies! I've been playing around with them a little bit. I did some the original way with the semi-sweet chocolate. I also tried some with milk chocolate, mint chocolate, caramel and caramel/milk chocolate!
I have a few that I've passed out to some friends to "test" for me and let me know what they like. I've done 3 different sizes to try to get the cookie/marshmallow ratio just right. I think I've figured that one out.......
Now to make some creamy hot chocolate to go with a cookie!

Wonderful Summer!!

Oh my goodness! It's been such a fantastically busy summer! We've had so much fun the last couple of months! Lots of camping, friends and family.....and lots of good food!

Every year at the end of July we have a big reunion....there is a family lodge and everything. My family got to be in charge of the Soda Shoppe this year! It had a new makeover and everything and we had so much fun! Check out our awesome cup tower that we built! It was over 6 feet tall!

We also were able to pick about 4 1/2 gallons of some amazing huckleberries this season! Aren't they beautiful?!

My Grandma also turned 90 this year! I was asked to make her a cake and some(about 120) cupcakes for her party. It was a beautiful day and so much fun!

See how pretty they are? Every color of cupcake is a different flavor! We had Carrot Cake, Lemon, Chocolate, Vanilla and Red Velvet.

I also made this beautiful Pineapple Upside-down cake for an order for a birthday. It turned out pretty nice, especially since I had never actually made one before! I've decided I really love it!

Now it's time to get ready for the fall and holiday season! I have lots of new things I'll be bringing to the craft shows that I'll be doing. The first one will be October 15th at the Hillcrest High School. So if you're around, come by, say "Hi" and buy a yummy treat or two! =)

Summer Catch-Up!!!

Holy Cow this summer is flying! There has been plenty to do! Camping, a wedding, camping, swim lessons, more camping! Lots of family, friends and plenty of great food! I did a giveaway on my fb page.....here is a little peek at what the winners got. Some Caramel-Apple Cinnamon Rolls, Cheesecake Strawberries, Huckleberry-Vanilla cupcakes and Chocolate-Raspberry cupcakes. All of the winners were pretty dang excited! It was a lot of fun! I will do another one probably in September.....so keep an eye out for that!

I mentioned a wedding......my husbands younger brother got married. Here is my little family with the bride and groom. My hubby thought it would be funny to get our picks taken with them while we are wearing our aprons....don't you love his cupcake one?! Everyone got a kick out of it...and I think he enjoyed the attention a little bit too!
Here is my oldest getting ready to serve some of the 17 different dutch oven crisps and cobblers we made for the reception. It was a big hit! It was a lot of fun....I love doing out of the ordinary things for weddings and parties!
A couple of weekends ago my husband and I catered a dutch oven birthday party over in Jackson Hole for a good friend of ours. Here are some pics of what we made......Prime Rib.....
.......Cheesy Potatoes...........
.........Baked Beans..........
.........Fried Chicken............
.......and 3 different crisps. Here is the Cherry. I also did a peach and an apple crisp.
It's been so much fun. There are still all sorts of reunions and more camping too. I will try to post once a week from now on.......I say TRY!!! I hope you are all enjoying your amazing summer!! I sure am!

Getting ready for this weekend.....

I'm doing a little craft fair at the elementary school in Victor and just baking away getting ready for it! I'm revamping the S'more Brownies a little bit.....my kids are drooling over them! They turned out pretty.....I really like the way they look.....but they may be too hard to actually eat this way. Oh well, it's a work in progress!
They really do look good enough to eat!

I'm trying a new recipe out for Cheesecake Brownies. We'll see how well they go over this weekend. They are a very rich brownie with an actual Cheesecake filling baked on top of the brownie.
They will be thick and yummy......I hope they go over okay.....again, it's a work in progress!
I'd better keep on baking and getting everything ready for Saturday. If you're gonna be in the Valley, stop by and see me! Next weekend I'll be in Idaho Falls at Hillcrest High School doing the Spring Bazaar there.....so put it on your calendar! Hope to see you all soon!
