Busy, busy summer!

It has been a crazy, busy, wonderful summer! I've been doing a few orders here and there and getting to try a couple of things. I wanted to share with you my Patriotic Brownie that I did in the dutch oven over the 4th of July weekend. I tried it first in a 14" dutch oven, but ended up burning it while I was eating my dinner. I decided it was too thin and wanted to make a little thicker, so I put it in a 12" the second round and this is what I came up with. It turned out perfect! It was so moist inside!

Thanks to my mom, I had fresh strawberries, raspberries and blackberries to grace this wonderful dessert. As always, I use my mom's brownie recipe (it's the BEST), then topped it with a cream cheese topping, then the berries. I think I loved it with the raspberries the best. They gave such a good tart contrast to the sweet of the brownie.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!
